Logistics Officer
Job Description
A firm is seeking an organized and experienced Logistics Officer to coordinate logistics operations, transportation, inventory movement, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
Location: Lagos, Lekki Free Trade Zone
Salary: ₦450,000 – ₦500,000 monthly
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics and transportation activities
- Monitor the movement and delivery of goods and materials
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, drivers, and other stakeholders
- Prepare and maintain logistics and delivery records
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues
- Support inventory management and stock movement
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with logistics procedures
- Monitor logistics costs and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare logistics reports and provide operational updates
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related role
- Experience in the Manufacturing industry is an added advantage
- Good knowledge of logistics operations, transportation, and inventory management
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
