Collections Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and goal-oriented Collections Manager to oversee debt recovery efforts, improve credit policies, and manage risk for our lending company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategies to ensure timely collection of outstanding loans and maintaining positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain communication with clients to ensure timely debt repayment and meet daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets.
• Develop and implement risk management processes, ensuring credit risks are monitored and controlled effectively.
• Design and manage the company’s Credit Policy Guidelines and Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
• Optimize and streamline credit approval, recovery, and collection processes for enhanced operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Must reside in Lekki or nearby areas.
• Educational Background: HND or B.Sc in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in roles such as Credit Analyst, Recovery Officer, or Collections Officer.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficient in preparing and interpreting financial reports and statements.
