Position: Head of Credit
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Head of Credit to oversee the credit analysis and risk management processes for our financial services organization. The ideal candidate will lead the credit team, ensure effective credit policies, and maintain compliance with financial standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement credit policies to minimize risk while maximizing profitability.
- Analyze credit applications and conduct in-depth financial analysis for loan approvals.
- Monitor and assess the creditworthiness of clients to ensure timely repayments and prevent defaults.
- Collaborate with management to optimize the credit process, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Credit Analyst, preferably in a Microfinance Bank or Fintech.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and monitoring.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
