Job Description
A leading provider of digital identity verification, AML, and fraud solutions is hiring a skilled Frontend Engineer to join its dynamic development team in Yaba, Lagos. The role is full-time and offers an opportunity to contribute to building secure, scalable, and high-performance applications across industries such as banking, fintech, telecommunications, and e-commerce.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain modern, scalable web applications using ReactJS and VueJS
- Write clean, efficient, and well-structured TypeScript code
- Implement frontend optimization techniques to improve application performance
- Create and run unit tests to ensure high code quality and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and resolve issues
Requirements
- HND, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Frontend Engineer
- Strong proficiency in React.js or Vue.js and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing tools such as Jest or Mocha
- Familiarity with state management (Redux, Vuex), RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and Git
- Knowledge of build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js or Nuxt.js
- Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture
- Knowledge of frontend security best practices and performance optimization
