Kennedia Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Account Officer to join our client in the retail distribution sector. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the effective financial management and growth of a dynamic organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and reconcile bank statements.
- Monitor and analyze budgets to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and audits.
- Support inventory management by tracking and reporting stock movements.
Job Requirements:
- BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Prior experience in retail or supermarket accounting is an added advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
