Job Description
7Eleven Consultancy Services is seeking a detail-oriented Account Officer to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, and support effective financial control. The role is essential to ensuring proper revenue monitoring, expense management, and timely financial reporting, particularly within a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Monitor cash flow, manage petty cash, and ensure proper cash handling procedures
- Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure timely payments to vendors and staff
- Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and periodic financial reports
- Maintain accurate ledgers and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation
- Track project-related expenses in collaboration with operations, marketing, and production teams
- Ensure timely invoicing and follow up on collections from clients, sponsors, and partners
- Assist with payroll processing and other assigned finance-related tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5–8 years of relevant work experience as an Account Officer or in a similar accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Good attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
