Job Type: Full Time, Onsite
Salary: ₦400,000 – ₦600,000 (plus benefits: 13th-month bonus, HMO, performance bonuses)
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, general ledger management, and compliance. They will also provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and management accounts for multiple business units.
- Deliver accurate financial insights to aid decision-making.
- Reconciliation and Month-End Processes
- Perform bank account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Lead month-end and year-end financial close processes, including adjusting entries and accruals.
- Compliance and Tax Management
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee tax filings, audits, and planning strategies, collaborating with other departments.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Management
- Supervise AP/AR functions to maintain cash flow and strong vendor relationships.
- Ensure timely invoice processing, collections, and payments.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications like ICAN, ACCA, or CFA are preferred.
- Experience: 4–7 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role, ideally in a high-revenue sector.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in financial reporting tools and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, ERP systems).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
- Multi-Entity Management: Proven ability to manage finances for multiple business units, including intercompany reconciliations and consolidated reporting.
