Industry: Media (Start-up)
Location: Ajah, Lagos
Salary: N200,000 – N250,000 Net

Join a dynamic media start-up as an Accountant, where you’ll play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and optimizing accounting processes. A detail-oriented professional with experience in cloud-based accounting software and a solid understanding of financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
  • Manage accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and tax filings.
  • Utilize cloud-based accounting software, especially ZohoBooks, for financial management.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.

Requirements:

  • BSc/HND in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
  • At least Skilled Level Certified.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS principles.
  • Experience in the media industry is an added advantage.
  • Must reside within Ajah, Lagos.
