Job Description
Vertex Realty Solutions Limited is currently hiring an experienced Accountant to support its finance operations in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and informed financial planning.
Responsibilities
- Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting processes
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities
- Manage tax filing and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws
- Handle payroll calculations, deductions, and remittances
- Maintain up-to-date financial records and oversee accounts receivable/payable
- Support audit processes with required documentation
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 5–8 years relevant experience
- Strong experience working in a real estate company
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations
