Job Description

Air Peace Limited is seeking a qualified Aircraft Engineer (B777) to support the inspection, certification, and maintenance of Boeing 777 aircraft. This role is critical to ensuring regulatory compliance, operational safety, and aircraft availability through high-quality maintenance practices and effective team supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign, perform, and certify inspections, repairs, replacements, and modification tasks on aircraft and aircraft systems
  • Plan and manage weekly maintenance resources, including manpower, materials, and tooling
  • Allocate, supervise, and coordinate tasks for a team of Technicians to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Troubleshoot multiple aircraft systems in line with standard operating procedures
  • Make informed decisions on material usage, task allocation, quality control, and maintenance deviations in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Communicate aircraft status, serviceability, and parts requirements to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure all maintenance activities meet company standards, targets, and safety requirements
  • Review maintenance procedures and recommend improvements for increased effectiveness
  • Identify, requisition, and manage required aircraft parts and tools
  • Accurately record and certify maintenance tasks to maintain up-to-date aircraft history and data
  • Report incidents and accidents in line with established procedures
  • Supervise and develop Technicians to improve competency and performance
  • Comply with safety, health, and environmental policies at all times

Requirements

  • Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical, or Instrumentation)
  • EASA type training on Boeing 777 with Trent 800 and GE engine options
  • Minimum of 5 years’ aircraft maintenance certifying experience on the B777 fleet
  • EASA/ICAO Type II Basic License (B1 or B2) with B777 endorsement
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and aviation legislation/regulations
  • Proficiency in computer applications and MRO systems
  • Ability to interpret technical data and apply inspection and troubleshooting techniques
  • Proven supervisory and leadership skills
  • Solid understanding of industrial safety standards and human factors
