Job Description
Dangote Industries Limited is seeking a skilled Fuel Management Analyst to support the Head of Fuel Management. The role involves monitoring fuel usage, analysing data, supporting procurement activities, and improving operational efficiency through performance management and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and analyse fuel consumption data across departments to identify trends, anomalies, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Support fuel procurement by forecasting requirements, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely replenishment.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on fuel usage, cost, and savings initiatives for management and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, procurement, and external vendors to ensure accurate data flow and effective communication.
- Assess and mitigate risks related to fuel supply disruptions, price volatility, and regulatory changes.
- Use fuel management software and analytics tools to improve accuracy and efficiency in fuel tracking and reporting.
Requirements (Instructions)
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis.
- Proven ability to design and implement tools and processes, with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to participate in complex strategy discussions using data and research insights.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a diverse audience.
- Demonstrated project and process management skills with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
