Job Description

An established architectural and construction firm in Victoria Island, Lagos is seeking a skilled Architect to join its team. This role involves translating design concepts into efficient, sustainable, and visually compelling architectural solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience from concept design through to project delivery, ensuring each stage meets both client expectations and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop architectural blueprints from conceptual design to construction documentation.
  • Prepare and present detailed 2D and 3D construction drawings for approval and tender processes.
  • Incorporate sustainable, cost-effective materials and techniques into design proposals.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, verify design implementation, and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and quantity surveyors to maintain design integrity, technical accuracy, and budget alignment.
  • Keep up to date with zoning laws, safety codes, and planning regulations for residential and commercial projects.

Requirements

  • HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project execution.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, or other industry-standard tools.
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating completed projects and client satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
