Job Description

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting scientific and competitive intelligence. The role involves working on both short-term and long-term projects, including market landscape analysis, company profiling, and competitor strategy evaluation.

Location: Gurgaon, India (Hybrid: 2 days WFO, 3 days WFH)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct secondary research using databases and open sources to gather relevant market and scientific data
  • Analyze competitor strategies, product pipelines, clinical trials, and market trends
  • Develop detailed reports with actionable insights for business decision-making
  • Perform market landscape analysis, company profiling, and product launch tracking
  • Evaluate data accuracy, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to improve research outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to team-driven projects
  • Present findings through well-structured reports and presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Pharmaceuticals or related field; M.Pharm preferred for Oral Health specialization
  • 5–8 years of experience in consumer healthcare or pharmaceutical business research/KPO
  • Strong expertise in secondary research and competitive intelligence
  • Proven ability in literature analysis, clinical trial evaluation, and market assessment
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • Understanding of OTC/Rx healthcare markets and regulatory environments (US/Europe is an advantage)
