Job Description
Catilas Resources Limited is recruiting for the position of an experienced Auditor to join its team in Kwale, Delta. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of auditing practices, risk assessments, and internal controls.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and make recommendations for corrective actions
- Identify areas of potential risk and develop strategies for risk mitigation
- Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in auditing or a related field
- Proficiency in internal audit frameworks and risk assessment methodologies
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
