Job Description

Polaris Digitech Limited is hiring a skilled Backend Developer to support the development and maintenance of scalable backend systems across multiple sectors. This role focuses on building robust server-side applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high performance, security, and reliability of backend services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
  • Optimize application performance, security, and data storage solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Support API documentation and ensure smooth integration with third-party services

Qualifications and Requirements

  • BSc or HND in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Backend Developer or in a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and development
  • Familiarity with API documentation standards and tools
  • Experience with GraphQL is an added advantage
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
