We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Engineering Team Lead to join our Repayments product group. In this fully remote role, you’ll drive digital and financial inclusion while leading a high-performing team. Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-quality engineering culture.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of scalable and resilient microservices in a DevOps environment.
  • Ensure high-quality code through automated testing, monitoring, and infrastructure as code.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to align technical decisions with business goals.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading a team in backend engineering, with strong expertise in C#.NET and Event-Driven Systems.
  • Experience working with microservices architecture, automated testing, and continuous delivery practices.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps culture and hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, monitoring, and observability.
  • Ability to work within a remote team, ensuring communication and collaboration across different time zones.
