Compensation: ₦350,000 – ₦400,000 Monthly (Net) + Pension, HMO, and Overtime Allowance

Job Overview:

A result-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) – Engineer with a background in Civil or Marine Engineering is needed to join a team. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in business development across sectors such as construction, media, or financial services. This role requires someone with strong industry networks, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare, write, and present proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage the entire business development process.
  • Collaborate with technical and project teams to align business goals with engineering capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years experience in Business Development across construction, media, financial, or related sectors.
  • Background and experience in Marine or Civil Engineering is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Marine Engineering.
  • Strong industry network and established relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and deal-closing skills.
  • Strong proposal writing and presentation abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills.
