Job Description
GTI Microfinance Bank Limited is hiring a Branch Manager to lead operations at its Lagos branch. This role involves managing the branch’s credit portfolio, driving loan disbursements, supervising the team, and ensuring overall branch profitability. Candidates with a strong background in microfinance lending, risk management, and loan recovery are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive loan disbursements while maintaining high portfolio quality and minimal default rates
- Evaluate loan applications, conduct customer assessments, and ensure compliance with credit policies
- Oversee loan recovery processes and monitor loan performance to reduce delinquencies
- Lead and mentor branch staff, set performance targets, and ensure operational compliance with industry regulations
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or HND in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a reputable microfinance institution
- Proven ability to disburse and recover at least N50 million monthly
- Experience with micro and SME loan disbursements and portfolio management
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
