Job Description
A reputable real estate development company, DreamCity Property & Investment Limited, is hiring a qualified Building & Structural Engineer to join its team in Victoria Island, Lagos. This role involves overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of building projects, ensuring all structures meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement structural design plans in line with regulatory codes and project requirements
- Conduct inspections and assessments of buildings to ensure structural soundness
- Supervise construction projects to confirm alignment with design specifications and safety protocols
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers to manage project timelines and deliverables
- Perform structural calculations and analyses to determine load capacity and stability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Technology, or related discipline
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in building and structural engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design software
- Strong knowledge of building codes and engineering standards
- Age range: 40–50 years
- Professional certifications such as COREN or NSE are an added advantage
