Business Analyst

Job Description

A growing organization is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to enhance, automate, and streamline business processes while ensuring accurate reporting and analysis. The role requires collaboration with finance, IT, and operational teams to deliver quality solutions that align with business needs.

Location: Lagos | Contract: 6 months | Salary: ₦400,000 – ₦500,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, organize, and disseminate global reports and data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyze business requirements and develop use cases for IT teams, including Data & Analytics and User Defined applications.
• Coordinate responses for operational budget reporting and departmental invoices, frequently interacting with Accounts Payable.
• Act as the first point of contact for escalated security matters and general queries within the organization.
• Support Quality Management teams with test script creation, execution, and validation of business requirements.
• Present specifications to development teams, review designs, and resolve queries during implementation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis, including experience with Waterfall and Agile environments.
• Knowledge of Basel rules is a plus.
• Experience in test case creation, IT testing, and supporting user acceptance testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
