Job Description
A fast-growing trade marketplace is seeking a Business Development Analyst – Export to support its mission of connecting African suppliers to international markets. This role is crucial for expanding its buyer base across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, particularly in the trade of both perishable and non-perishable goods such as avocados and coffee beans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage new buyers through targeted market research and outreach.
- Execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing buyers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Prepare sales contracts and oversee the completion of all required export documentation.
- Coordinate with sourcing, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth delivery and execution.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within export or agricultural sectors.
- In-depth understanding of African agri-products, export procedures, and trade logistics.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
