Business Development Executive

Job Description

A manufacturing-focused organization is seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth and expand its presence within industrial markets. This role is suited for a professional with strong B2B sales experience, a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers across production and procurement functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within manufacturing, construction, and industrial sectors
• Build and maintain relationships with plant managers, procurement officers, and technical stakeholders
• Conduct site visits to assess client needs and propose tailored solutions
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and commercial bids aligned with client requirements
• Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract finalization
• Manage long sales cycles and track tender opportunities and RFQs
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide sales forecasts and market insights
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure successful delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field
• 3–5 years of B2B sales or business development experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors
• Strong understanding of industrial sales cycles, supply chains, and procurement systems
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and product documentation
• Experience handling tenders and RFQs is an added advantage
• Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting systems
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
