Location: Abuja, Enugu, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Nigeria
Salary: ₦500,000 – ₦1,000,000 Monthly

A reputable company in the Oil & Gas industry is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue generation. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional with a proven ability to secure contracts and expand client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities across key sectors.
  • Lead the tendering process and oversee proposal submissions to IOCs and EPCs.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnership growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments to inform strategy.
  • Drive contract negotiations and support deal closures that align with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5 – 7 years of progressive experience in Business Development.
  • Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry is required.
  • Proven success in winning contracts, closing deals, and growing client accounts.
  • Familiarity with tendering processes of IOCs and EPCs.
  • An MBA or postgraduate degree is an added advantage.

Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory):

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Sales or Business Development certifications (e.g., HubSpot).
  • NIPEX/NCDMB Vendor Engagement Training.
