A reputable organisation in the consumer electronics and renewable energy sector is seeking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager for a senior-level managerial position to drive revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong commercial relationships, and driving sustainable growth across B2B and B2C channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities
- Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and channel expansion
- Manage and grow key accounts and distributor relationships
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals
- Lead negotiations, proposals, and contract management
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and opportunity assessment
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams
- Track performance, forecast revenue, and report growth metrics
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Revenue growth and sales target achievement
- New business acquisition and pipeline value
- Partnership and channel expansion performance
- Conversion rate from leads to closed deals
- Customer retention and account growth
- Market penetration in target segments
- Average deal size and sales cycle efficiency
- Contribution to overall company profitability
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing high-value deals
- Experience in consumer electronics, renewable energy, or related industries
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage
Remuneration
💰 ₦700,000 net monthly
