Job Description

A leading creative/media organisation is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, expand strategic partnerships, and unlock new commercial opportunities across corporate, media, entertainment, and high-net-worth client segments. This role focuses on building pipelines, closing profitable deals, and supporting new business lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with corporate clients, media agencies, film/TV producers, and high-net-worth individuals
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of inbound and outbound leads
  • Lead pitches, presentations, and negotiations to close profitable deals
  • Drive quarterly and annual sales growth targets and ensure repeat business from existing clients
  • Research market trends and competitor activities to uncover growth opportunities
  • Develop and propose new products, services, and seasonal packages
  • Build partnerships with sponsors, vendors, and industry stakeholders for monetisation
  • Support expansion into studio rentals, training academy, and regional partnerships
  • Develop sales materials, case studies, and sector-specific pitch decks
  • Collaborate with marketing to optimise digital presence across website and social platforms
  • Drive campaigns that highlight capabilities, seasonal offers, and success stories
  • Coordinate and represent the organisation at offline activations, panels, and networking events
  • Maintain accurate sales records and CRM databases
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on leads, conversions, and pipeline health
  • Work closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction
  • Act as a professional brand ambassador in all external engagements

Qualifications & Experience (Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in business development, sales, or a marketing agency (preferably within media, entertainment, or events)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems and digital sales tools
  • Results-driven mindset with strong planning, pitching, and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and client-facing professionalism
  • High integrity, accountability, and ability to work independently
  • Strategic thinking with creativity to develop new products and services
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
