Job Description

A results-driven Business Development Manager is required to drive revenue growth and expand market presence across multiple service lines, including event services, hall management, and equipment rentals. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and converting leads into measurable business outcomes within the Lagos market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies tailored to the Lagos market
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, SME, and institutional sectors
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and digital channels
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
  • Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships for repeat business
  • Achieve revenue targets and improve occupancy/utilization across services
  • Negotiate contracts and develop competitive pricing and service packages
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior
  • Track performance metrics and provide regular sales and pipeline reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 4–7 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in service-based industries
  • Strong knowledge of the Lagos commercial landscape and customer trends
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales and revenue targets
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong networking ability; access to corporate or social networks is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
