Job Description

A growing organization is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, secure strategic partnerships, and manage client relationships. The ideal candidate should have strong sales, communication, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify business opportunities and achieve revenue targets in a competitive market.

Salary: ₦500,000 – ₦700,000 monthly base salary plus performance incentives

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to increase sales and revenue generation.
  • Identify, engage, and secure new clients and strategic business partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and business pitches to prospective clients.
  • Monitor sales performance, client acquisition, and retention metrics while preparing regular performance reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support business growth initiatives and improve service delivery.
  • Research industry trends, market opportunities, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Track and analyze customer feedback to improve products, services, and client experience.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Sales & Client Relations

  • Achieve a minimum monthly sales target of ₦4 million.
  • Acquire at least 2 new clients every month.
  • Maintain a customer satisfaction (CSAT) score of at least 80%.
  • Ensure a minimum annual customer retention rate of 50%.

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Secure at least 3 new strategic partnerships per quarter.
  • Identify and pitch at least 5 new revenue opportunities every quarter.

Operations & Reporting

  • Submit weekly sales and business development reports.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy of at least 95% for client data and sales pipeline management.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Experience using CRM tools and sales reporting systems is an advantage.
