Job Description

GIG Mobility is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, expand strategic partnerships, and strengthen market presence within the mobility and travel industry. This role is ideal for a senior sales professional with strong regional exposure across Africa, Europe, and America, and proven experience in mobility, travel, and large-scale events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and negotiation to deal closure, ensuring a seamless client experience
  • Develop and execute effective sales and go-to-market strategies to support business growth and market expansion
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, industry trends, and competitive insights
  • Identify, engage, and manage relationships with key clients, corporate partners, and mega event organizers
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling sales materials, campaigns, and proposals
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations and tailored proposals to prospective clients
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive retention, satisfaction, and repeat business
  • Lead, coach, and manage the sales team, setting targets and fostering a performance-driven culture
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategy adjustments
  • Work closely with product teams to communicate customer feedback and influence service improvements
  • Improve sales processes using data-driven insights and best practices

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in mobility, travel and tours, with solid knowledge of event management
  • Proven experience leading and managing high-performing sales teams
  • Strong understanding of sales models, go-to-market strategies, and revenue growth frameworks
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry events
