Job Description

Virgin Forest Energy Limited is recruiting a strategic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive sustainable growth and revenue expansion. The role focuses on identifying new market opportunities, strengthening client relationships, building strategic partnerships, and executing high-level growth strategies within the consulting and compliance space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new clients and retain existing accounts
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the business development team to achieve and exceed performance targets
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform growth strategy and positioning
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare tailored proposals, presentations, and client pitches
  • Manage end-to-end client engagement, including prospecting, negotiation, deal closure, onboarding, and relationship management
  • Track, analyze, and report business development metrics, conversion rates, and market trends
  • Represent the organization at industry events, networking platforms, and business meetings to strengthen brand visibility
  • Identify new markets, product opportunities, and service expansion strategies to diversify revenue streams

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, marketing, or growth strategy
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building long-term business partnerships
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales or business development targets
  • Experience within the consulting, branding, or marketing industry is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to balance strategic thinking and execution
