Job Description
A leading IT solutions provider is hiring a Business Development Manager – IT Infrastructure to drive sales and expand market presence within the enterprise IT and network infrastructure space. The role requires a highly motivated professional with a solid background in structured cabling, LAN/WAN, wireless technologies, cloud networking, and enterprise connectivity solutions. This is a client-facing and strategic role designed for individuals with proven expertise in ICT channel sales and technology distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities in IT infrastructure.
- Build and manage relationships with OEMs, distributors, VARs, and channel partners.
- Understand client requirements and deliver tailored networking and infrastructure solutions.
- Prepare and present detailed sales proposals, bids, and solution demonstrations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Provide accurate forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates to executive management.
- Represent the company at industry events and partner engagements.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of proven experience in B2B IT sales or business development, preferably in network infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies such as switches, routers, firewalls, wireless solutions, and structured cabling.
- Familiarity with ICT distribution and sales ecosystems, including OEMs and resellers.
- Ability to manage end-to-end sales cycles with a consultative approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Established relationships within industries such as finance, telecom, oil & gas, or the public sector.
- Experience with multi-vendor solutions or channel sales strategies.
- Professional certifications (e.g., Cisco, HP, Ubiquiti, CompTIA Network+) are an added advantage.
