Job Description

An experienced Business Development Manager is required to drive market expansion and revenue growth within the oil and gas sector. The role focuses on identifying high-value opportunities, securing strategic partnerships, and managing commercial engagements across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with IOCs, NOCs, EPC contractors, and oilfield service companies.
  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, bids, and tenders.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close high-value commercial deals.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and project pipelines.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, meetings, and exhibitions.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies and sales plans.
  • Achieve assigned revenue and growth targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 5–10 years of proven experience in oil and gas business development or sales.
  • Strong professional network within the oil and gas industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with tendering, bidding, and contract management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Solid knowledge of oil and gas industry regulations and standards.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver results in a target-driven environment.
