Job Description

Elper Oilfield Engineering Nigeria Limited is seeking a skilled Business Development Officer to drive growth and expand its presence in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the industry, proven experience in securing high-value B2B deals, and the ability to manage complex client relationships with international and national oil companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with IOCs, NOCs, E&P companies, and vendors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including projects, partnerships, and market expansion.
  • Lead or support the tender and bidding process by preparing proposals, reports, and presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and other industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Petroleum Management, or Engineering. A master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
  • Proven network and ability to connect with key decision-makers in IOCs, NOCs, and related stakeholders.
  • 3–6 years of experience in business development, sales, technical sales, client relationship management, or commercial roles within the oil and gas sector (upstream, midstream, or downstream).
  • Strong track record of securing high-value, complex B2B deals with International Oil Companies.
  • Deep understanding of the oil and gas industry, petroleum products, supply chain management, or engineered solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, CRM tools, and relevant technical software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
