Job Description

A reputable company in the oil and gas sector is seeking a Business Development & Technical Operations Associate to drive growth initiatives and support technical operations across upstream and downstream services. This role combines strategic business development with hands-on operational coordination, focusing on tendering, procurement, OEM engagement, and supply chain execution within the oil and gas value chain.

Key Responsibilities
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with government agencies, IOCs, and EPC contractors.
• Prepare, coordinate, and submit EOIs, RFQs, and tenders in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Liaise with local and international manufacturers for procurement of production chemicals, drilling fluids, marine equipment, and related products.
• Track project timelines and oversee delivery logistics to ensure timely execution of contracts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across the oil and gas industry.
• Conduct market research to monitor pricing trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
• Support operational teams in logistics coordination and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical and commercial input during client meetings and proposal development.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, including business development, tendering, field operations, or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of petroleum product supply, drilling fluids, and offshore/onshore operations.
• Demonstrated experience responding to procurement requests such as EOIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with ERP or CRM systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under pressure.
