Job Description

A reputable organization, Zeiders Enterprises Inc., is seeking qualified candidates for a Career Coach position under the Military Spouse Education and Career Opportunities (SECO) Program. This fully remote opportunity allows professionals to support military spouses in achieving their career and education goals. The role involves one-on-one coaching, career planning, and connecting clients to employment opportunities, all while working from home.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized career coaching sessions via phone, video, webinars, and online platforms such as MySECO and social media.
  • Guide military spouses through career exploration, education planning, financial assistance, and job search strategies.
  • Administer and interpret career assessments to identify strengths, interests, and suitable career paths.
  • Deliver presentations and webinars to educate clients on SECO services, career resources, and professional development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of coaching sessions using government systems and tools.
  • Respond to client inquiries across multiple communication channels, including social media and call queues.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Career Counseling, Education, Adult Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ professional experience providing career support to diverse adult populations.
  • Active certification such as Certified Career Counselor (CCC), Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP), or National Certified Counselor (NCC).
  • Candidates without certification must meet experience requirements and obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to manage multiple web-based systems.
  • Reliable high-speed internet (3Mbps upload/download minimum) and a home office setup.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBTI and/or Strong Interest Inventory certification.
  • Experience in a call center or structured environment.
  • Background as a Military Spouse, Veteran, or Wounded Warrior.

Location: Remote (U.S. based)
Salary: $24.76 – $31.32 per hour

Additional Information:

  • Shifts may vary based on call center hours (Mon–Fri: 7 AM–10 PM EST; Sat: 10 AM–5 PM EST).
  • Requires U.S. Citizenship and successful completion of a government background check.
