Role Overview:

The Chartered Accountant (CA) in the construction sector is responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, cost control, and financial reporting. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, procurement teams, and senior management to optimize project costs and improve financial efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Master’s in finance is a plus. ICAN/ACCA certification
    is a must have.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in similar roles (within the construction industry would be a plus)

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain internal relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and market research skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel)
  • Budgeting

Salary & Benefits:

  • ₦500,000 per month inclusive of 60% based/guaranteed pay and 40% as performance-based pay.
  • Commission of ₦100 on each ton sold (for any sale directly linked to you)
