A reputable company in Lekki, Lagos is seeking to hire a Chartered Accountant to manage financial operations, analyze daily financial activities, and provide strategic insights to senior management. The role involves preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting long-term business objectives through accurate financial planning and control.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, sales reports, and cash flow for trends and variances.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports.
• Oversee finance department operations, set objectives, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage and review day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, receivables, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Support external audit processes and tax filing requirements while maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in accounting or finance, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, CPA, or CFA is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP software.
