Job Description

I-Tech Platform Limited is hiring a Chief Brand and Marketing Officer (CBMO) to lead the brand positioning, marketing strategy, and customer acquisition efforts for Adashe, a digital cooperative and savings platform focused on driving financial inclusion. This role requires a strategic and creative marketing leader with strong experience in building consumer-facing brands and executing campaigns that resonate with both urban and informal sector audiences across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall brand strategy, marketing direction, and customer acquisition initiatives for Adashe
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, community, and offline channels
  • Build and manage a consistent brand identity across all communication platforms
  • Design targeted marketing strategies for cooperatives, market associations, artisans, traders, and informal sector workers
  • Drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention through innovative growth campaigns
  • Oversee content creation, social media strategy, and public relations activities
  • Collaborate with product and business teams to align marketing strategies with product offerings and market needs
  • Lead grassroots marketing, field activations, and community engagement initiatives
  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics such as customer acquisition cost, ROI, and engagement levels
  • Manage relationships with media partners, agencies, and community influencers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is an advantage)
  • 7–10 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or growth marketing
  • Proven experience building or scaling consumer-facing digital products, fintech, or financial services brands
  • Strong understanding of Nigeria’s informal sector, including experience marketing to traders, artisans, and cooperatives
  • Demonstrated ability to execute grassroots and community-driven marketing strategies
  • Strong skills in brand storytelling, digital marketing, and campaign execution
  • Experience managing marketing teams and external agencies
