Job Description

A leading 360° marketing solutions company is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and oversight. This role is responsible for driving long-term financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting executive decision-making to achieve sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning processes.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and board on risks, opportunities, and performance.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess financial procedures, identify risks, and strengthen controls.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise finance and accounting teams, fostering accountability and discipline.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience, including at least 5 years in a Chief Financial Officer role.
  • Professional membership of ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho, SAP, or similar.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with high levels of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with office applications and financial reporting tools.
  • Applicants residing within the Lagos mainland axis and environs are preferred.
