Job Description
A reputable organization is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and manage its financial operations across strategic locations in Abuja and Lagos. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in financial leadership, planning, and compliance, with the ability to align financial goals with broader business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic financial direction and advise the Chairman and Board on investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and the development of financial models to support business planning.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and regulatory standards.
- Manage cash flow, capital structure, and maintain relationships with financial institutions and investors.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
- Relevant professional certification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CFA) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 10 years in senior financial roles, with at least 5 years at CFO level or equivalent.
- Experience across sectors such as FMCG, Oil & Gas, or Hospitality is an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
