Salary Range: N300,000 – N650,000 monthly

Job Overview

Havana Group is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive the company’s technology strategy and support its growth. This leadership role requires a technology expert with a strong track record of building scalable systems, leading innovative teams, and navigating complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable technology solutions.
  • Oversee security, infrastructure, software development, and integration of emerging technologies such as AI, cloud computing, and blockchain.
  • Build, mentor, and manage high-performing technical teams.
  • Ensure compliance with technology-related regulatory standards and data privacy laws.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably as CTO, VP of Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong expertise in software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like GDPR and POPIA is essential.
