Tongyi Group Limited is seeking a skilled Chinese Translator to join its team in Abuja, FCT. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong command of both Chinese and English languages and an interest in supporting communication efforts within the mining industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating written and spoken content, ensuring accurate and effective communication between teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate written documents from Chinese to English and vice versa.
- Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, presentations, and site visits.
- Assist in drafting bilingual reports, emails, and official documents.
- Support effective communication between Chinese-speaking and English-speaking staff in technical and operational discussions.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Translation, or a related field.
- 1 – 2 years of proven experience in translation or interpretation.
- Proficiency in both Chinese and English languages (spoken and written).
- Prior experience in the mining industry is considered an added advantage.
