Job Overview

A reputable organization is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Business Lead to manage and grow its civil construction business unit. The role involves overseeing infrastructure projects from conception to completion, driving business growth, managing teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage major infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and budget control.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive opportunities and ensure business growth.
  • Supervise, mentor, and manage teams of engineers, technicians, and construction personnel.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and government agencies to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Oversee budgeting, risk management, scheduling, and quality control processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Membership in relevant professional bodies such as COREN and NSE.
  • Project Management Certification is required.
  • Previous experience with reputable construction companies or project-based organizations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
