Job Description
A reputable construction firm in Ode-Remo, Ogun, is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to manage and supervise all aspects of building construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves interpreting structural and architectural drawings, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to plans and timelines.
- Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for accurate on-site implementation.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, consultants, and relevant authorities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across project sites.
- Monitor budgets, materials, manpower, and project milestones in collaboration with project managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- COREN certification is mandatory; additional certifications such as PMP are an advantage.
- 5–10 years of experience in building construction or real estate development.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MS Project, and other relevant tools.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work in fast-paced environments and manage dynamic project needs.
