Location: Abuja (FCT) & Lagos (Remote)

Alpha Global is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructures that drive business innovation. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to develop secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud solutions that meet business needs, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Lead cloud migration projects, optimizing workloads for cloud environments and hybrid architectures.
  • Automate cloud infrastructure deployment using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Ensure cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate cloud services into applications efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field. Additional cloud computing certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in cloud architecture, cloud migrations, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS), Azure (VMs, Azure AD), and Google Cloud (Compute Engine, BigQuery).
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for cloud automation.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking (VPCs, firewalls, IAM), and compliance best practices.
