 Cluster Manager

Locations: Abuja & Borno

Key Responsibilities

Cluster Management

  • Map and identify potential Distributors and Wholesalers within the assigned area, ensuring product assortment aligns with local market needs.

  • Present and promote RedCloud’s value proposition to prospective partners.

  • Lead negotiations, secure contracts, and manage all invoicing processes.

  • Achieve monthly targets across TTV, acquisitions, revenue, and active retailers, including supporting large-volume trades through TradeX.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive platform adoption and consistent trading activity among partners.

Customer Success & Retention (Distributors & Wholesalers)

  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for partner success within the cluster. Create and follow a monthly visitation schedule for all Distributors/Wholesalers.

  • Ensure partners maintain up-to-date product listings, accurate pricing, sufficient inventory, and proper assortment on the platform.

  • Anticipate and resolve challenges related to pricing, stock, logistics, platform usage, and retailer engagement through cross-functional collaboration.

Distributor/Wholesaler Relationship Management & Governance

  • Strengthen partner engagement with insights on TTV trends, category performance, digital adoption, and operational matters.

  • Record all field visits in RedTAG and coordinate itineraries with line managers.

  • Verify trade authenticity, correct application of incentives, and payment completion.

  • Visit a minimum of 30 retailers monthly to monitor Red101 app usage and validate transactions.

  • Collect market feedback, obtain purchase receipts, and upload findings to RedTAG.

  • Act as the customer advocate, sharing insights with Product, Operations, and Growth teams.

Retailer Network Growth

  • Manage and mentor a team of RedForce field officers overseeing 1,500–2,000 retailers, ensuring high productivity and operational compliance.

  • Drive the recruitment and activation of new retailers within the cluster.

  • Lead local demand-generation activities, onboarding campaigns, and market-mapping initiatives in collaboration with Marketing.

  • Conduct at least 20 retailer visits per month to assess app usage and confirm on-ground transactions.

  • Submit retailer insights and purchase data through RedTAG.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in retail, FMCG, or B2B marketplace environments.

  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management and partner engagement.

  • Excellent communication, business writing, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions; intermediate Excel proficiency required.

  • Highly proactive, able to work independently with strong ownership of tasks and projects.

  • Experience using ERP and CRM platforms is an added advantage.
