A reputable organization in the oil and gas sector is seeking qualified CMMS Field Engineers for a short-term field-based contract in Port Harcourt. The role involves supporting Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) operations and maintenance activities on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field verifications and inspections for asset data collection and validation.
- Interpret and review Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (PEFS), and other engineering schematics.
- Support CMMS data gathering, structuring, and loading activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate documentation and data integrity.
- Monitor and report on project progress related to maintenance operations and asset management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in asset management, maintenance operations, or CMMS-related projects.
- Strong skills in interpreting technical diagrams and engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability, and effective team communication.
- Prior experience in oil and gas environments is an added advantage.
- Must be willing to work in field-based conditions, including frequent site visits.
