Job Description:
Wema Bank is seeking a skilled and results-driven Commercial Relationship Management Officer to manage and grow its commercial banking portfolio. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored financial solutions. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience within a commercial bank and a proven track record in relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients by providing customized banking solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Analyze clients’ financial needs and provide strategic recommendations and banking products.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and timely service delivery.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a First Degree in any discipline (2nd Class Lower Division or higher).
- At least 3 years of experience in a commercial banking role.
- Must currently be employed within a commercial bank with a strong portfolio size.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CIBN) will be an added advantage.
