Hybrid Work: 3 times a week

A prestigious law firm based in Lekki, Lagos, is seeking a professional and highly motivated Company Secretary to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of corporate governance and legal frameworks to effectively support the company’s legal and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
  • Ensure proper documentation of board meetings, resolutions, and other critical company activities.
  • Advise senior management and the board on statutory obligations and compliance with the law.
  • Maintain and update the company’s registers and legal records, ensuring all documents are accurate and up to date.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and company law.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
