Job Description

A company based in Ikeja GRA, Lagos is hiring a skilled Content & Communications Specialist with strong experience in digital storytelling, marketing communications, and content creation. This role is ideal for a creative professional who can craft clear, engaging, and brand-aligned content across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute compelling content for email, blog, social media, and landing pages
  • Collaborate with internal teams to shape brand messaging and ensure consistency across all channels
  • Apply SEO strategies and use analytics to measure and improve content performance
  • Adapt tone and messaging for different audiences including B2B and B2C segments
  • Work with design and multimedia teams to align written content with visual assets

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in content creation, communications, or marketing
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Notion, Google Docs, Buffer, Brevo/Mailchimp
  • Solid understanding of SEO, analytics, and user engagement metrics
  • Advantageous to have a background in fintech, startups, or tech-related brands

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

  • Experience collaborating with designers or video content creators
  • Knowledge of lifecycle communications and user journey strategy
  • Education or professional background in journalism, creative writing, or branding
