Job Description

A technology-driven company is hiring a Contract Frontend Developer (React/Next.js) for a 4-month project focused on building a high-performing, data-intensive user interface. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of modern React practices, experience with real-time data integration, and the ability to transform complex designs into elegant, functional components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive, high-quality user interfaces using React and Next.js.
  • Translate design prototypes from Figma into pixel-perfect, reusable React components.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and implement real-time data functionality using WebSockets and Socket.io.
  • Manage application state efficiently using modern libraries such as Zustand or Redux Toolkit.
  • Style components using Tailwind CSS and integrate enterprise-grade UI elements from ShadCN/UI.
  • Ensure optimal performance, code quality, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Collaborate with backend and design teams, providing documentation and participating in code reviews.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer.
  • Expert proficiency in React (Hooks, Context API) and modern TypeScript.
  • Proven experience with Next.js and production-grade frontend applications.
  • Strong understanding of Tailwind CSS and experience with ShadCN/UI.
  • Hands-on experience with API integration and real-time data implementation.
  • Solid understanding of Git workflows and collaboration best practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership of assigned tasks.

Added Advantage

  • Experience in the FinTech sector or data-heavy applications.
  • Familiarity with testing tools like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization and web vitals monitoring.
